ERIN J. BUSTIN is in her first year of PhD studies in Musicology at the University of Toronto Faculty of Music. Her research interests include community choral singing in Canada and Canadian choral repertories, Nova Scotian folk music, music and identity, and Canadian music studies. An avid choral singer and former member of the Nova Scotia Youth Choir and National Youth Choir of Canada, Erin enjoys combining her passion for choral singing with her academic interests and endeavours, and is delighted to have had the opportunity to compile the printed program for this year’s Toronto Bach Festival. She is excited to be returning to the festival for the third time as a member of the Bach Festival Singers.
