The Toronto Bach Festival Conducting Master Class offers a dynamic professional development course of conducting lessons, score study and master classes throughout the Festival.
In preparation for daily classes and concerts with celebrated Festival Conductor and Guest Lecturer Maestro Helmuth Rilling, Doreen Rao will teach, coach and mentor the Conducting Master Class participants, assisted by master class coordinators Timothy Sawyer (Northwestern College, USA) and Janet Brenneman (Canadian Mennonite University).
Applications for the 2007 Conducting Master Class for conducting participants and for the Choral Workshop for non-conducting participants are now being accepted.
