The Globe and Mail's Robert Harris endorsed the Toronto Bach Festival by saying that the Festival experience is "something close to classical-music perfection"! We hope to build on our relationships in the Toronto community in order to realize our program goals for 2007.

Presenting Partner
Bach St. John Passion Lecture-Concerts with Helmuth Rilling
Full Sponsorship $100,000+ (partial and/or group partnerships are welcome)
Our Presenting Partner would assure a once-in-a-lifetime artistic and educational experience for hundreds of talented University students in orchestra, choir, voice studies and conducting. This partnership offers these students the opportunity to work under the inspired leadership of world-renowned Bach scholar and conductor Helmuth Rilling. In addition, Toronto audiences (14,000 Canadians) will be offered a series of lecture-concerts, open rehearsals, voice and conducting master classes with world-renowned artists and scholars held at the Faculty of Music.
Helmuth Rilling Partner
$35,000+ (partial and/or group partnerships are welcome)
The Bach Festival would not be The Bach Festival without the presence of the Bach master teacher and conductor, Helmuth Rilling. This partnership ensures the teaching residency of the Festival's principal conductor and master teacher, and brings us his deep and insightful teaching.
Orchestra Mentorship Partner
$20,000+ (partial and/or group partnerships are welcome)
To support prominent Canadian musicians to "teach in action" as Festival Orchestra mentors to the next generation of Canadian artists.
Guest Artist Partner
$25,000+ (individual artist partnerships are welcome)
Our international roster of vocal artists and scholars who will perform and teach throughout the week of Inside the Passion Lecture-Concerts would be impossible without a partnership such as this. The magic happens when we are able to witness Bach in the hands of the masters!
Choir Mentorship Partner
$15,000+
Critical to student involvement in this program is the presence of skilled professionals after whom students can model their musical development. Choir mentorship partners will support a core of emerging professional singers in their contributions to the University's Bach Festival Singers in the rehearsals and performances of Bach's St. John Passion at the University and in concert with the Toronto Symphony Orchestra.
Fleck Family Foundation
Bach Academy for Young Choirs Partnership
The Fleck Family Foundation has graciously sponsored "Children singing Bach" - the Festival's educational outreach initiative to bring in school and community choirs each afternoon to sing and study Bach with Helmuth Rilling, soloists, The Bach Festival Orchestra and University of Toronto Choirs.
Vocal Master Class Partner
$5,000+
Young aspiring singers travel from afar to study with Maestro Rilling during the Festival. They are offered the opportunity for professional development in master classes, lessons and coaching sessions with this partnership.
